Every week we run a handful of picks like this close, honest looks at work we think is genuinely good. At the end of the week, one of them gets named the winner. This is the second one we're putting up.

A peace sign wrapped in shimmering chrome, color and energy fused into
one frame intense, saturated, alive. The palette isn't anything you'd call default AI output; it's a signature. Objects and light don't just sit next to each other here, they melt into each other. That's the bar we're holding this project to. Not "good for AI,"
genuinely good work, full stop. Work where what was imagined gets carried through with the maker's own sense and feeling, not flattened by the tool.

Made by @alex.parnassus. Working "at the frontier of art and tech,"
he's built a body of 700+ pieces defining his own chrome-punk visual
language vivid, kinetic, unmistakably his. Commissions are open, and
prints of his work are already sold through his own shop.

Enjoy the piece, and if it's landing for you, go see more on his page —
@alex.parnassus. It might change how you look at AI.

Why this one: our honest first reaction when we reached out, unedited —
"Your work possesses a unique color palette that only you can create.
With its intense, shimmering colors and the fusion of objects and energy, your work embodies the creativity and unique value we are
looking for."

That palette isn't the tool. It's him.

This is what we're looking for every week. Not the most AI-looking AI
art. Not AI hiding that it's AI. Just work good enough that how it was
made stops being the interesting question.
